My name is Jacob Rice, a newly Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). After College, where I had graduated and earned a Bachelors of Science in Applied Nutrition from Ohio University, I knew I wanted to make more of an impact than just the Nutrition/Diet aspect of life.
Upon graduation, I applied what I had learned to use on myself to help shed some unwanted body fat I had picked up during my college years and was able to lose about 25 pounds. I had always been an athlete throughout my life playing any sport I could, but focusing mainly on Hockey. It wasn’t until later in life that I realized at a younger age I had been taking the weight room for granted, and I can only imagine how my performance might have been impacted had I not done that. That is when I made the decision to set a new goal in life to not only help people feel and look better, but to also cover the mindset, motivation and lifestyle that can be created through Personal Training. With that in mind I hope I can have a positive impact on your life and help you live a healthy and happy lifestyle. I look forward to meeting and training with you to accomplish that goal!
